Trevi Gardens

If you want to experience the beauty and ambiance of a natural garden, Trevi Gardens is your best bet. Trevi Gardens is a charming community on Springfield’s southern outskirts, nestled between Southern View and Southwind Park. Around 250 single-family homes and duplexes were built when the area was first created in 1978. Its shared spaces include a pond and a hiking path.

Trevi Gardens has a fish-stocked 1.3-acre pond. The pond is open to residents for fishing. The Home Owners Association allows residents to maintain a respectable amount of fish if they wish to eat them. To fish at the Trevi Gardens pond, you’ll need a fishing license.

There are several private lanes in Trevi Gardens. These streets include Capri Lane, Volare Lane, Como Lane, Caesars Lane, Augustus Lane, Argenta Drive, Messina Drive, and Resina Drive. Trevi Gardens’ amenities include:

  • Springfield utilities
  •  Fishing pond and walking trail
  • Southwind Park, Springfield’s newest jewel of public space
  • Chatham Schools, one of the best educational systems in the region

This fantastic LOCATION is located near I-55 and 72, Lake Springfield, Knight’s Action Park, the University of Illinois Springfield campus, and Lincoln Land.

In 1997, the Trevi Gardens Homeowners Association (HOA) was formed to look after Trevi’s communal areas. An annual assessment paid by residents covers the expense of mowing and maintaining the commons. Every year, the trustees work to enhance a section of the subdivision. Trevi traditions include a summer garage sale weekend, Spring Cleaning Day, and a neighborhood fall celebration.

You should note that Trevi Gardens property owners are automatically members of the Homeowners Association. The Declaration of Conditions, Covenants, Restrictions, Rules and By-Laws govern the organization and ensure residents live in harmony.

One of the places created as part of Trevi Gardens’ Planned Unit Development (PUD) phases is the Fifth Addition Condo Association. It is made up of 31 homes that are lined up along three private streets: Resina Drive, Argenta Drive, and Messina Drive. The Trevi pond may be seen from several of the residences and duplexes. Two more lots are still available for development.

Residents of the Fifth Addition Condo Organization are part of the Trevi Gardens Homeowners Association, which has its own set of bylaws controlling common areas’ upkeep.

People who live on private streets own them and are responsible for replacing and repairing them. Property owners must contact the board when selling a home in Trevi Gardens.
